About: We are thrilled to announce that EdTech Hub will be participating in eLearning Africa 2023. We are excited to be sponsoring the Ministerial Round Table as we present our vision for building a movement of high-impact and evidence-based EdTech in Africa, highlighting evidence and learnings from our close partnerships with government ministries in Kenya, Malawi, Tanzania, Ghana, and Sierra Leone.
In addition to the round table, EdTech Hub will be making a presentation at a session on Enhancing Learning through Analytics: Real-world Examples of Personalised and Adaptive Learning (EN), Chairing the EdTech as a Game Changer for African School Children session and moderating a session on Promising EdTech Solutions to Overcome Learning Loss Among African Children. This session will provide insights into innovative strategies and technologies that can help mitigate the impact of learning loss and improve access to quality education in Africa.
As a pan-African event with over 1,050 participants, eLearning Africa 2023 offers a unique platform for dialogue and knowledge-sharing among individuals and organizations involved in digital-supported education, training, and skills development in Africa. About the session: Enhancing Learning through Analytics: Real-world Examples of Personalised and Adaptive Learning (EN)

Description: This session showcases how learning analytics can improve teaching methods and student outcomes. With real-world examples, panellists will demonstrate the power of data-driven personalised learning, such as the Green Shoots Maths Curriculum Online programme, which uses data to make decisions about cognitive and effective learning gains in maths. Participants will also learn about combining AI with low-tech delivery channels for personalised learning, and adaptive learning content pre-loaded onto tablets to monitor implementation quality in offline environments. Practical recommendations are given on integrating digital personalised learning into classrooms sustainably for equitable learning.
