Bio
My home organisation is Brink, where I am one of the two co-founders and Directors. At EdTech Hub, I am the Director of Innovation, leading the innovation thread and strategic direction for the AI Observatory and Action Lab. On the AI Observatory, our goal is to use a hypothesis-driven approach to generate evidence on strategies and approaches we believe can narrow the learning divide in the age of AI, providing decision makers with timely, practical evidence.
I also work to turn evidence into innovation by scaling the best education technology in low- and middle-income countries. I collaborate with colleagues across the Hub and around the world to apply evidence and learn-by-doing with partners on the ground in Sandboxes. In this work, we take ideas from paper to prototype to real-world scale, adapting plans as needed and exploring business model innovation to ensure that successful solutions are sustainable and impactful.
I am a tech optimist with over two decades of experience at the intersection of technology and innovation. During this time, I have founded my own startups, raised venture capital, and designed, launched, and scaled tech solutions for partners, clients, and grantees. I have had the privilege of working globally, from California to Kathmandu, and enjoy blending the best approaches to create a positive impact in the world.
