Bio
At EdTech Hub, I am the Senior Portfolio Manager for the Helpdesk, overseeing the Africa, South Asia, and MENA portfolios. In this role, I lead all technical helpdesk requests and manage partner relationships across these regions. My work spans a wide range of edtech thematic areas, including the development of national edtech strategies, the use of technology in emergency and fragile contexts, and capacity building for teachers, learners, and government stakeholders to engage effectively with edtech. I also lead the implementation of the Tech4Ed initiative in Lesotho and Guinea-Bissau, and co-lead its implementation in Malawi. In addition, I am part of the Hub’s Education in Emergencies (EiE) working group, where I have led and contributed to the development of key evidence on the use of edtech in emergency and post-emergency settings.
Prior to joining EdTech Hub, I worked with the World Bank, Aga Khan Foundation, and Porticus, supporting the generation of evidence on effective teaching and learning practices and the implementation of a wide range of education programmes. I am passionate about inclusive and intersectional education services, foundational literacy, student-centred learning, and SEL programming. I began my career as a Grade 3 and 4 teacher in Mumbai, India.
