The World Bank and EdTech Hub’s AI Observatory and Action Lab co-convene a special Community of Interest to explore and understand AI’s potential, practical technical options, challenges, and policy implications for education.

The challenge

Artificial Intelligence is rapidly transforming education, presenting both opportunities and challenges for policymakers, educators, and EdTech developers. Policymakers, education stakeholders and implementers, and the private sector need not only guidance but support in exchanging knowledge, challenges and opportunities.

Creating a community to explore solutions

To help meet the challenges and support effective transformation, the World Bank formed the AI in Education Global Community of Interest (CoI) and invited EdTech Hub to co-host this dynamic group. This initiative provides a structured platform to exchange global practices, address key policy questions, and facilitate innovation in AI applications for education. Each convening is focused on a theme to share global experiences, address policy concerns, and present emerging solutions.
