Where We Work
EdTech Hub is a global research partnership. Our goal is to empower people by giving them the evidence they need to make decisions about how to effectively deploy technology in education systems. We believe that technology has the potential to help solve the global learning crisis, but that potential is not being realised.
We aim to improve learning outcomes and address the obstacles to implementing and using EdTech in ways that are effective, impactful, cost-effective, context-appropriate, and scalable.
Common challenges faced by policymakers and decision-makers include finding relevant and accessible evidence. Our evidence library brings together reports on our latest research and findings. As a global partnership we seek to make our evidence available and accessible to those who are looking for EdTech solutions worldwide.
One of our approaches is to focus on trialing and delivering work in seven focus countries: Bangladesh, Ghana, Kenya, Malawi, Pakistan, Sierra Leone, Tanzania. Learn more about our country engagement model here.

EdTech Hub is a global team. Beyond our seven focus countries we engage a network of specialists with diverse geographic and subject-matter expertise. Our specialists work closely with the EdTech Hub team to deliver support to decision-makers in low- and middle-income countries. Our research, tools, and approaches are applicable globally.

The EdTech Hub Helpdesk
EdTech Hub supports education decision-makers to incorporate the latest globally informed, locally relevant knowledge and evidence into choices related to EdTech.
FCDO Education Advisers, World Bank and UNICEF staff who work closely with ministries of education in low- and middle-income countries can request and receive short-term, discrete support from the EdTech Hub Helpdesk.
We work with requesters to support the “what” and “how” of EdTech-enabled approaches. We seek approaches that are evidence-based, contextually appropriate, realistic to implement, and cost-effective.
